President

Preside at all Auxiliary board and Auxiliary meetings according to
Robert’s Rules of Order, Newly Revised. |

The Auxiliary board meets at least seven times a year. |

Be an ex-officio member of all committees except the nominating
committee. |

Liaison with TYC Vice Commodore. |
 |
Votes in case of a tie on the Auxiliary board. |
 |
Votes when voting is done by ballot. |
 |
Serves in an advisory capacity to the Auxiliary the following
year. |
 |
Turn files over to the new President after elections at the annual
meeting. |

Vice President
 |
Acts as membership chairman. |
 |
Keeps an accurate record of membership roster. |
 |
Attends all Auxiliary board and Auxiliary meetings. |
 |
Presides at meetings if President is absent. |

 |
Secretary
 |
Attends all Auxiliary board and Auxiliary general meetings. |
 |
Keeps and has available a true record of all Auxiliary general
meetings, special meetings and board meetings. |
 |
Responsible for notifying members of all meetings. |
 |
Reads and posts all correspondence. |
 |
Draws up the ballot, verifies voting status of members, passes out
ballots and participates in the counting of votes at elections. |

Treasurer
 |
Attends all Auxiliary board and Auxiliary meetings. |
 |
Keeps and has available the account of the Auxiliary. |
 |
Receives all money, pays all bills and preserves vouchers for all
payments. |
 |
Liaison with TYC financial secretary and treasurer for bill
paying. |
 |
Keeps one account. |
 |
Receives all dues and issues membership cards. |
 |
Keeps an itemized account of all receipts and disbursements and
presents a complete statement at each regular business meeting and
provides a copy to TYC business office. |
 |
Submits detailed written report at annual meeting. |
 |
Keeps books in order and gives to auditing committee following
annual business meeting. |

Publicity/Hospitality
 |
Makes sure all Auxiliary events are well publicized.
|
 |
Sends all flowers, remembrances and cards. |
|
 |
Parliamentarian/Historian
 |
Acts as Sergeant-at-Arms and ensures that Robert’s Rules of Order,
Newly Revised are observed at all meetings. |
 |
Keeps a scrapbook of Auxiliary activities, which remains on file. |
|
 |
Ship’s Store Chairman
 |
Responsible to the Treasurer for the receipt of all monies. |
 |
Liaison with TYC Business Office. |
 |
Keeps an itemized account of all receipts, disbursements,
purchases and inventory of the Ship’s Store and presents a
complete statement at each regular business meeting. |
 |
Responsible for ordering, receiving, arranging, and selling all
merchandise through the Ship’s Store. |

Ship’s Store Assistant
 |
Works with the Ship’s Store Chairman with same responsibilities. |
